Growing up, my mom would bake a lot for the holidays, especially for Christmas and Easter. We had a tradition in our house that we would gift baked goods to our neighbors for those holidays. It was a great way to meet new neighbors and stay in touch with old ones, but it was also a great way to show them that these two holidays meant a lot to us because we believe in Jesus Christ. We lived in my childhood home for 17 years so you can imagine the bond that we created with our neighbors throughout the years. A Love Letter
My Sweetest Husband,
Here we are. 5 months into this marriage and a whole year since we got engaged! It’s kind of a funny feeling, to be honest. On one hand it feels like I have known you forever, on the other, I can’t believe how fast these months went by.
Aloha

Moments
I have stood at the foot of mountains.
I have the seen the views from their summits.
I have felt the foam of the ocean
Dance on my feet in slow, harmonic motion.
Forest
I wanted to move forward,
But the forest was dark.
I saw branches and twigs
Things to trip me up.
I stared into this darkness
Knowing I didn’t want to go,
But my feet moved forward,
Two steps…three steps…four.
